This is because later versions of the OS do not allow unauthenticated guest access by default. However, you can change that.
Go into Local Group Policy Editor. (gpedit.msc)
Under Computer Configuration, navigate into Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation.
Then find the Setting : Enable insecure guest logons and set to “Enable”
